2015 Ford Focus Revealed!
Before its debut at the Geneva Auto Show, the 2015 Ford Focus was unveiled online. Both the online and public debut reveal a refreshed Focus. Like the Fiesta‘s recent facelift, the new Ford Focus has a more athletic, toned appearance. The major exterior design changes include new front and rear styling. Inside, the interior has been updated as well and includes a new centre console. Under the hood, the 2015 Ford Focus now sports a 1.0 litre three-cylinder EcoBoost engine.
While the 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine is new, it is expected that the car will also be offered with its current 2.0 litre engine though specific details have yet to be announced.
From a technology standpoint, this new car is loaded with technical Ford accessories such as MyFord Touch with SYNC 2 and an 8-inch display. Other technical gizmos include the Blind Spot Information System, CityStop, and an automated parking system.
The Ford Focus originally debuted in Europe in the summer of 1998. The 2000 Ford Focus arrived in North America in 1999, and the Focus has been a hit ever since. The Focus replaced the Ford Escort. It has also been released in a ST version as well as an electric version. The Focus is also a rally car and touring car history.
